Caring for your pet

To the new boarder, being kenneled can be a confusing experience. Some dogs will adjust quickly and happily to the new regime and surroundings but others may require a little extra love and attention to help them settle into their new environment. Rest assured that we make every effort to ensure your pet’s comfort.

We provide a high quality food and are always interested in discussing your pet’s special requirements. This enables us to closely follow the feeding regime that each pet is given at home.

Any veterinary treatment prescribed can be continued while your pet is in our care. This is provided at no additional cost.

Chibach, the security guard

Our kennel building is climate controlled by thermostat which keeps it nice and warm in the winter.  In the summer, the concrete construction helps maintain a nice cool temperature!  (We've been known to hang out there ourselves when it gets too hot!)

Your dog will always find his/her kennel to be very clean and equipped with fresh water and clean blankets and bedding for comfort.  (You are  welcome to bring along your own bedding if you prefer.)

Special Needs

Especially tiny pets generally stay in "Camp Little Guys" ... see picture below.

Especially old pets often prefer to spend the day in the kennels under our deck.   These kennels give them a lot of extra room and there are no doggie flaps to contend with.   (We only use these during the warm weather)

We assess special needs dogs individually, and do whatever is necessary to make them  comfortable. Above and beyond!
