We are very proud of the great feedback we receive!SVEN & NANCY We have used Castle Rock Kennels for years. The current owners, Dale and Leigh, have taken the concept of a canine "home away from home" to new heights. Our golden retrievers have always been happy and excited to be dropped off since they took over the kennel several years ago. The most noteworthy visit happened the summer of '04. Our "senior" retriever, Leif had been ill on and off since June. He was not up to accompanying us on a two week trip to Hornby. We did take his younger brother Farley and were worried about leaving Leif behind, both from the point of view of health and companionship. Our worries were in vain. We picked up a more happy, lively geriatric than we had left! He had literally received the "spa" treatment from Dale and Leigh. We credit them with helping to make the last weeks of his life as comfortable as they could possibly have been. More recently, we were visiting the kennel with friends of ours to pick up Farley. Our friend is a veterinarian from California. He and his wife own two dogs and in addition to running hospitals and clinics, they own a kennel down there. When we left Dale, our friend looked at us and said, "Wow! He (Dale) obviously knows and loves his dogs!" We feel lucky to have such an amazing facility on The Sunshine Coast. Pam I can't thank you enough for all you have done for me and Buster this last month. I don't know what I would have done without you. I'm sure Buster will be very happy in his new home. Hoping that you can
find a few moments to read this letter, the contents have been something I
have longed to let you know, but, bless you both, you are so busy when
I (!) visit that my appreciation has been delayed, but now I just must
tell you how much you mean to BB and to me.
Each time she comes home, I see a change, she is becoming more and more confident and so many of our friends have noticed the intelligent look she has. The caption above her head is clearly "What are you doing now?" and she just has to know! Yesterday, all the way home, she was cuddling up to me although she knows there are times when I must have both hands on the steering wheel. But she gives me a big nose budge under my elbow if she thinks she is being neglected!! ........I never have to give a thought about BB when she is with you, except that I am just so lonely without her! Thank you so much for the wonderful loving care you give to all your "visitors", and especially to my "rotten-bad-little-brat" - yes, I know The Boss!! Thank you a million. Take care.
